Any lead equivalent you need, applied from 50 kV to 511 keV

What is X-ray glass?

X-ray glass, also known as lead glass or radiation shielding glass, is a special type of glass containing a very high proportion of lead. This makes it exceptionally effective at blocking radiation, while you keep full and clear visibility of, for example, a patient.

Due to its high lead content, X-ray glass is very heavy and up to 5 times softer than normal glass. This makes it sensitive to damage and clouding, so please read the maintenance instructions carefully before cleaning.

Protect your health

Every application requires a specific lead equivalent, as prescribed in your radiation shielding plan. As an experienced lead glass supplier, we are happy to advise you free of charge on the right value for your situation.
